Commercial Presentations

Sales & Product

In many medium to large companies, the person creating the presentation is often not the person presenting it. This scenario typically exists in product and service oriented organisations where the marketing team produce sales presentations to promote their offering.

When this happens, the staff who are expected to present the material can easily and understandably get lost in it. This can create instability in the presentation delivery and cause the audience to become disconnected.

By adding interactivity to the presentation, the presenter always:
  • Knows where they are in the presentation
  • Knows where they are going

In addition, the audience (which is often a customer or prospect) takes benefit from being able to:
  • See where the presenter is in the presentation
  • Ask ad hoc questions that the presenter can immediately respond to by jumping to that area of the presentation and returning to where they left prior to the question, without having to embark on the disturbing practice of escaping from the slide show, finding the slide, restarting the slide show and escaping again to return.

Financial Reporting

Periodic financial results are often made with a fixed sequential presentation that is then succeeded by an interactive Q&A section. During the Q&A section questions can cover almost any topic so the presenter or conference call facilitator needs to be able to quickly get to the specific slide that supports the verbal answer a specific point.

Investor

There are many types of investors and each one requires a different level of understanding in a particular business. Some are new while others are 'familiar faces' and being able to tailor the delivery of a single presentation (you don't normally want to rewrite it for each investor) for each session is a significant time saving capability.

You can now attend sessions with a single PowerPoint file that has everything from the basics to the detail and present only what the audience is interested in.

Active Popups help show and hide detail as and when required and at the end of the session, the Export Wizard can be run to create a tailored presentation based on the slides you showed during the session.

E-Learning and Training Courses

These types of presentations fall in to the category of "present-and-take-away" which means that the tutor may present them live to an audience that may be physically present or remotely connected via the Internet but that the material becomes a post-session reference for the attendees.

Courses can often be hundreds of slides and when referring to such a document at a later date, the last thing you want to be doing is struggling to find the right slide. An interactive menu bar avoids the 'needle in the haystack' dilemma by creating chapters and sub-sections which are always visible on every slide and that allow the reviewer to quickly find what they need.

Kiosk Displays

Unattended kiosk displays often have content that is produced in a 'black box format' than cannot be maintained by the owner of the content. Adding interactivity to PowerPoint menas that this is a thing of the past and now intelligent touch screen display based presentations are an affordable reality.

Education

Similar to the E-Learning scenario, lecturers, professors and teachers alike can now deliver electronic versions of their courseware to students in a format that facilitates the easy location of information.
